Bach's monumental Passions, prolific cantatas, and intricate motets rightfully loom large over all German choral repertoire, many other German composers have made remarkable contributions over the centuries - both before and after Herr Bach. Join us in March for a sampling of centuries of German psalmody, featuring the music of Mendelssohn, Brahms, Schubert, Hassler and others. May 21, 2023 at 4:00 pm The remainder of our season will also encompass a wide range of composers, including music by Orlando Gibbons, Salamone Rossi, Felix Mendelssohn, Johannes Brahms, Jaakko Mäntyjärvi, Jake Runestad, and Shawn Kirchner, among others. |
